All of our pieces are made out of 316L Stainless Steel, also called Surgical Steel. This type of material has so many advantages:
- Highly Durable (more so than Sterling Silver)
- Low maintenance
- Colors won't fade/tarnish
- Leadfree
- Extreme low amount of Nickel, making it safe to wear if you have a Nickel allergy
- Hypoallergenic
- No green skin!
- Showerfriendly
Waterproof
Yes! The jewellery is showerfriendly, however, we do not recommend swimming in pool as the chlorine might damage the material!
How to protect your jewellery:
- keep away from chlorine and other chemicals
- store correctly
- Always dry your jewellery if you've been in contact with water
How to clean your jewellery:
1. Use (a mild and liquid) soap and warm water to clean the jewellery
2. Dry with a soft cloth
When cleaning, do it gently as you can damage the material if you're not carefull.
How to store your jewellery:
- Keep away from dust and moisture
- Keep away from other metals/gemstones
If your evil eye pendant breaks, falls off or even disappears it's actually a good sign! That means someone tried to curse you with the evil eye and your protective pendant was able to ward it off successfully. There are multiple options if your pendant breaks; you can bury it in your garden, you can store it and leave it on your nightstand or take it with you wherever you go, you can make mosaic art with it or replace it with a new protective pendant.

The evil eye is part of so many different cultures, all around the world, it doesn't belong to just one culture. As long as you know the meaning and power of the evil eye it will not be seen as cultural appropriation. Everyone who understands and believes in the evil eye should be able to enjoy it.
